Newest Technology!

New Over-the-ear (OTE) hearing aids such as the Zon shown above use RIC technology (receiver-in-canal) which eliminates occlusion effect, reduces feedback and increases available power.
Hear San Diego is always on top of the newest innovations in the field.
Hearing loss is the third most common chronic condition among Americans over the age of 50.

| Your Audiologist will advise you on the type of hearing aid most appropriate for you and your hearing needs, but the most common types are presented below: |
Over-the-Ear Hearing Aids (OTE) (also known as On-the-Ear hearing aids) are lightweight, easy-to-fit, and offer superior sound and comfort. |
Behind-the-Ear Hearing Aids (BTE) are housed in a curved case that fits comfortably and virtually invisibly behind your ear. |
Completely-in-the-Canal Hearing Aids (CIC) are fit the deepest into the ear canal of all hearing aid models. |
In-the-Ear Hearing Aids (ITE) are custom made to fit directly into and fill most of the visible portion of your ear. |
In-the-Canal Hearing Aids (ITC) are custom designed smaller to fit deeper into the ear canal than the in-the-ear hearing aids. |
